Therefore, after reviewing my website and if you like what you see and are interested AND serious, I might be interested in possibly taking on ONE willing "basket case" situation that would like to be mentored personally by me in what I call a "Life Consultant and Educator/Mentor" role. See below for what I propose should someone be interested.
The use of the term "Basket Case" is NOT meant in a derogatory way. Just a beginning point-in-time state where one is at the moment. That may be different for each individual or each family. And it is more important that the attitude is right rather than how bad things are or may be.
Actually, I would prefer the most worst case "Basket Case" situation possible. The worst of the worst. With the right attitude and willingness to be receptive to what I can do for them, within 6 months (assuming we have 6 months still per the attention-getting maybe shocking serious home page indicates without knowing EXACTLY how long we do have truth), their situation will be turned around DRAMATICALLY and I do mean dramatically.
I will guarantee it as I've been there - unfortunately or fortunately depending on how one wants to look at it several times - and know what it is like. In one instance years ago, with no job or income for the previous 3 years and zero savings, I was deeply in debt ($15,000 approximately) and 25 cents in the pocket. Literally. A year later, debt-free with all bills paid on time, a nice respectable minimum wage plus tips job and over $ 2000 in the savings bank. And peace of mind, happiness and un-matched respect of peers and supervisors/owners of the company coming to me for advice plus a sense of relief one cannot explain unless you go through it yourself. All with minimum wage employment.
As I say, they (or you...) will have a personalized mentor, tutor, educator, encourager, up-lifter like none they have ever had or known about before.
Please Remember I'm a Nobody
As mentioned throughout this website, I don't feel I'm anybody special. Actually, a nobody. I don't deserve the blessings I've been given. With all the mistakes I've done and still do, I should be worse off than where I am. I am flawed in many ways as you will find out. For example, I speak longer and more profusely than I should. But, I am no better nor any worse than anyone else. Yet, the focus is definitely different than anyone I've met or know about in the financial services or life consulting industry.
My objective, regardless of the status or current situation one has, is to convey and teach them how to THINK, how to SEE, how to UNDERSTAND and of course, how to make better decisions for themselves so they won't need me in the future.
Some of the tools used will be their goals and their objectives, their finances and their life experiences. This takes time as the focus is on YOU and what's in it for YOU. Everyone is different and each learns at a different speed. The focus is NOT on me and my get-in-and-get-out-in-an-hour-and-a-half-and-get-a-hip-national-bank check for me attitude as most "professionals" have.
If you wish, who remembers the guitar teacher of the world-famous Elvis Presley? No one remembers the teacher as I would not expect anyone to remember me. I don't care if you remember who I am.
But I would expect people to SEE the results of what this nobody teacher taught.
Can YOU be receptive to a nobody for your teacher? If you are and have a My Fair Lady flower girl type attitude and willingness to put the time and effort in then you can expect to see results beyond belief. Others will notice as well. Quickly. Probably within the first week to 30 days.
Go Ahead And Dream Big Dreams
Considering the world around you as you notice on this site (and I mean every word you find anywhere on it DEEPLY and very seriously), you can be whatever you want to be. Let your mind explode considering what your true fantastic potential could be. It truly is more awesome and incredibly incredible than you can imagine. I believe that and I don't care who you are or what your situation is at the present. It really is in your hands to achieve MORE THAN your wildest dreams.
Dream big dreams and then achieve them. You can do whatever and be whatever you want. Set goals for yourself and then go for them. May we work together in some capacity to help you become that person, that family? To achieve whatever you want in life? There are too many real-life examples of others that have done it. Why can't you? I believe you can. But it won't be easy. It will take hard work, but I can assure you it will be rewarding. Very rewarding. Will you trust me enough as others have and allow me to help you? To guide you and direct you in your focus and your quest.
Do You Fit This Profile?
This "Basket Case" I'd like to work with should be located here in Central Massachusetts*. You probably are not satisfied or happy with your situation - whether financially, socially, or in any other way important to YOU. I don't care if you are positive or negative cash flow (positive means income exceeds your outgo and negative means outgo expenses exceeds your income) or if you have assets galore or little to no assets.
This individual - male or female - or this family - husband and wife with or without children somewhat in agreement as far as wanting to do something about your situation and your future - may be able to read and comprehend from the website, but may want more than what is on the website - a personal mentoring, a personal tutor, at least possibly short-term as a jump start to get your situation in a more positive state that you can be happy about. Personal education tailored to YOU for YOU.
The attitude of not being happy where you are regardless what you do yourselves and the desire for change is what I'm looking for. In other words, your seriousness. How serious are you in wanting to change your situation and what time frame are you looking at? That is what I can work with to transform you to achieve your goals. You should obviously be willing to listen, decide for yourselves what is important to you and act accordingly giving honest feedback for your success. You will make all decisions and take the action as you own your own future. My role is guidance and direction and the crutch tailoring the mentorship around you. I am not a miracle worker yet some have called me that.
Everything will be held in strict confidence as it would have been in my former professional practice.
My Time Is Too Valuable
My time is too valuable to me to waste with those that are not serious. I'm retired yet do enjoy helping others to help themselves. Therefore, save your time and mine if you are not serious.
Please understand, I will NOT do completely what I did for my former clients. Most all the work will now be YOUR responsibility.
My focus will be to guide and direct and mentor and educate, but no longer DO the grunt work. You need to learn by doing as you won't have me all the time.
In this day and age, you need to learn what you need to learn faster than ever before so YOU need to put the effort in yourself vs. having it done for you.
My expectation is that within 6 months:
 a complete FREE no-obligation either way interview will have taken place. The objective of this interview is to discover 1.) how can I help you, the "Basket Case"? 2.) would you the "Basket Case" like my help? and 3.) can we work together for your benefit to achieve your goals?
a comprehensive personalized plan in all 6 areas of your life will have been established tailored to and around you and your goals, dreams and desires.
the beginnings of implementation of this plan will have been begun along with a monitoring system you will find extremely beneficial for you that others paid big bucks for. (The system of transformation normally took up to 3 years, hence, the word "beginnings" is used for the first 6 months expectations and a lot can be accomplished in 6 months. I guarantee it. FULL DISCLOSURE - I seriously question how much time we have left before "the bottom" falls out... in a massive way per the extremely realistic home page.)
Financially:
 to understand and create a workable Cash Flow Spending Plan WITH and NOT imposed upon the "Basket Case" to achieve the goals the "Basket Case" desires within the time frame of the "Basket Case". In other words, increase the peace of mind while decreasing the stress when it comes to your Cash Flow of too little income vs. too many bills leaving some extra cash on the table so to speak.
to review the importance of and actually go through how to do Checkbook balancing banks no longer even teach
to become debt free within 1 to 3 years and begin paying down on any mortgage should one have one
to begin an at least 6 months Cash Reserve for emergencies and everyday opportunities that become available
to double check the basic insurances that they are in order appropriate to the "Basket Case", including but not limited to life, disability and long term care
to have the "estate plan" commenced regardless of the "Basket Case"'s age(s) and financial situation
an easy simple monitoring system established to make sure the goals desired by the "Basket Case" are implemented and achieved
Living Life Abundantly
taking inventory of and deciding what living life abundantly means to the "Basket Case" in all 6 areas of life
begin implementing a specific plan tailored to the "Basket Case" towards the "Basket Case" established desires
all sorts of peace of mind, confidence, flexibility and other fantastic and awesome traits to be blatantly obvious to others around you when they think of you
options to progress up the corporate ladder having sought you out should YOU want that direction in your life
and much, much more...
The "Basket Case" will have begun to learn to make more intelligent decisions for yourselves financially and for your life to do away with the mentor quickly, maybe within six months to one year.
the option to end the relationship at any time by either party without further obligations. In other words, it must be structured in a win-win situation for all parties right from the start. Hence, the initial FREE no-obligation either way interview.
Should we decide to work together, this mentorship will be extremely reasonable and negotiable for the "Basket Case" chosen and will pay for itself quickly regardless of their initial situation, probably within the first month and will include some guarantees on that. Remember, I am retired so don't expect what I am worth anymore but have learned unless someone has "something" or even a "token something" into the process, they won't gain as much. Hence, a VERY affordable regardless-of-the-current-situation token negotiated amount will be encouraged, yet may not be required. This is a sample of my attitude though.
