7 Simple Steps to get into ...
Including the 4 major trends to affect YOUR life and YOUR finances
Assuming you want to live life abundantly while getting your finances rock-solid within 6 months, in addition to thinking about your complete goals program as well as your existing life, think about YOUR future based on YOUR past ... AND ... current events. In other words, the past has a tendency to repeat itself. YOUR past history AND also the WORLD'S past history. That's right. Look at world history to project what the future may bring you. Then consider your own personal goals prior to considering your financial plans and living life abundantly - whatever that means to YOU. After reading this, you may want to seriously and urgently re-evaluate your own situation dramatically. I suggest that you read and study this page again before making any plans or changes to your life. Maybe even a third time. Some seriously dramatic issues are now facing you and your future. Be forewarned. Go on the aggressive offensively.
Here is one way to do what I call prophetic thinking BEFORE deciding what changes to make. Set the stage to project yourself in the future even more profoundly than just your finances. Remember that you are not an island. You are part of a bigger picture and the result of it as well. A fantastic living example from history of how to use this information can be viewed here.
(Must get into mind how disgustingly out of touch with reality is formal higher education today.) Unfortunately, in too many respects, much of formal higher education today teaches how to earn a living, but not how to live life. Nor how to think. Nor, do they take into consideration world events, which today are horrendous. More about those later. Formal education does, however, teach theory. How other people "think" people should earn a living without the past excellent examples of overall reality. It is just fragmented THEORY imposed on those actually doing the teaching - the teachers - so major beneficial parts of what should be taught are missing. In all too many cases, the teachers hands are tied in what they can and cannot teach. This is not always true, but the fruits speak for themselves. Look at the real life world of business and the products they produce. How many seem to be just out for the bottom line profit regardless of how poor the quality or service is? Then think which formal institutions taught these businesses how to conduct business that way. So, many times these two conflict - formal education on earning a living for the fast buck vs. living a life of happiness, peace, joy and harmony. Now consider there really are at least two schools of thought generation. The formal process and then the everyday informal media along with our environment process? I won't talk any more about the formal education as there are certain aspects that may be appropriate, but a lot is truly unrealistic to the truth in life. Especially today. And especially without teaching history and all aspects of history. The informal education consists of mainstream media along with our environment as a major teacher. What does it teach? About anything? About finances? Invest your money in the stock market and hope for the market to go up gambling with no guaranteed gains. Just potentials. Or use those credit cards to shop and spend beyond your means to keep up with the neighbors with "toys" that are here today and a waste tomorrow. Or about life. You deserve a break today or this or that thing regardless of whether you can afford it or not. Or whether it is really good for you long term. It sounds good but is it really good for you? Doesn't this advertising media - i.e. the TV - start with pre-schoolers as baby-sitters and continue well past formal education? No lasting real value. Unless you call greed, violence, selfishness a lasting value. Some think once out of formal education, no more schooling. This is blatantly un-true! Our education continues whether we think we are being educated or not. Talk is cheap. Look at the results. How are people living their lives today? How did they learn that? Look at the media for the past couple decades and really since the 60s sexual and parental rebellion years as a good place to start. My suggestion is take life by the horns and be aggressive about it. It is only YOUR future! YOUR life! What and where do YOU want to be in the future? Want to live paycheck-to-paycheck or worse like 71% of Americans today according to a recent study or truly financially independent? Would you like to be happy like a generation or two back when there really was much more happiness, peace, harmony and prosperity? Want to be a leader or just one of the pack? "If you knew you could not fail, how big could you dream?" (That came from a book and I forget which one. Sorry, credit can't be given where it belongs.) The point is the future really is in your hands. What you dream can be reality. Dream big dreams and achieve greatness. Dream little to no dreams and guess what - little to no achievements. How do you get your mind to dream ... REALISTICALLY? A strong recommendation is to turn off the TV and unplug it and get rid of it! There is nothing good on it anymore anyway! (There has not been a TV plugged in my house for several years and I couldn't be happier! And those having taken my suggestions in the past agree. Real peace has swept over their homes like they did not know could exist! Lots and lots of other solid benefits as well.) Then no matter what age you are, be aggressive with your education by what I call going back to the "Self-Help U" or the Self-Study University just for YOU. Design the education based on YOU. Play games together, especially the board games. Review the Continuing Education Offerings suggestions. Read books, study using this formula you are reading right now. Not only is it less expensive but it truly is better for you in the near term and especially in the long term.
2.) PONDER THE PAST. PONDER AND STUDY HISTORY. (Pondering the past gives guidance for the future.) Yes, you can look at the history of YOUR finances and YOUR life as this is a finances and life program. YOUR past indicates what YOUR future may be like if YOU don't make any adjustments. That is true. But more importantly, look at what is going on around you. The trends in the society. Not all of the changes are good for you. Just because something is "fun" or part of the "in" crowd or "peers" are doing it, doesn't mean it is the right thing to do for YOUR life. The question becomes how do you know which are good and which are not good? Study history and observe when people were happy and content vs. how they are now. Events do carry rewards or penalties sometimes for years. Cause and effect. Minor "things" may affect YOU for years in a major way. Seriously consider what you do. Look at nations that repeatedly do certain things and go a certain way. Nations have certain "personalities". History - yours, your home, your community, your country and the world - does repeat itself more often than not. Societies rise and societies fall and there ARE reasons. Do you know what they are? A prime example of knowing certain world history was Prime Minister Winston Churchill of Britain who saved western civilization. He studied world history including the Germans and more specifically Hitler and many believe this history studying was the reason he knew what Hitler and the Germans would do before they did it and countered them. Consequently he won the war and is called the savior that saved western civilization. This is just an example of certain nations and their personalities. They are not meant to be derogatory, just that all nations do have their individual personality - both good and bad. To get a leg up on the future world events, study history and then you can tell what MIGHT occur in the not-to-distant future. Then you can project the effects on you and your individual situation. In the summer of 2006, many media commentators looked at world events of the day and likened them back to 1938 as World War II was starting. Can YOU see the connection? How well do YOU know world history? Can you see World War III HAS ALREADY begun? Many do...
3.) STUDY LEADERS AND LEADERSHIP. (Gives great insight into the future as well. Look for the fighters or the wimps and the future is before you.) For example, using the history of World War II and Europe again, 2 men that might be excellent to study are Churchill and Hitler. Churchill for the positives (there are not many men with good examples of positives to follow today, maybe a President Ronald Reagan) and Hitler for the negatives (there are too many individuals, unfortunately, available today demonstrate the negatives or what not to do). An excellent poor example was another British individual Chamberlain who was ready to hand the country over to Germany literally with Churchill saying those nations who went down fighting rose again but those who went tamely were finished. How many weak-kneed liberals do you know today that want to do the same thing - negotiate or appease when the adversary enemies don't believe in "words" and never have? They have and always will believe in force. What happened when President Reagan bombed a terrorist's home? Didn't he stop his terrorism, at least while Mr. Reagan was in office? What has happened since with the wimps in the White House? It doesn't matter who has the power. It all boils down to who has the will. The US is a divided nation no longer with the will and lacks quality leadership at all levels of government. Formal education tends to teach individuals to be followers rather than leaders. Those few that train themselves like Winston Churchill are the true leaders in the future. But be super careful of who you study and why. Look at autobiographies of past great leaders who formed countries or companies or expanded them dramatically. What did they do positively and what did they do negatively and how and what was the outcome results? The negative ones first turns one or two to envy, jealousy and resentment over an imagined injustice - then into disloyalty. They with the one or two converted like rotten apples in a crate continue to stir up resentment, feelings of bitterness, self-pity, disloyalty and finally open and vicious rebellion in others next to them. And, as each rotten apple rots those next to it until the whole crate is rotten, so the evil leader proceeds. So, if the rotten apples are not thrown out early enough, they destroy the whole. Where is society today and what is the attitude of the masses? There really are no strong courageous right-thinking wholesome Winston Churchills today, are there? Are your eyes open enough to see which type of peers you associate with? Look around you and ask who do YOU want to be like? Then study and take action. It is YOUR future.
4.) STUDY HUMAN NATURE. (You can learn a lot by observation, but learn even more by studying.) Many want to hear smooth things. In other words, don't rock the boat. There are many different styles good and bad of human nature. Look at the fruits and learn. As William E. Bailey who started a major fast-growing national company back in the 1970s said, "Copying is the first step in developing your own style". Pick and choose what you copy though. Leaders want war ... IF ... they think they can win. Of course they do. Wimps don't. Hitler, Stalin, Al Qaida are excellent examples of bad fighters for the world. Learn about and watch the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in pushing his beliefs and ways on others while also learning about and watching Edmond Stoiber of German Bavaria as a potential negative Hitler-type leader of Europe if and when he takes control of it. Remember that Germany started 4 bloody world wars in the last 200 years. Click here on why I can see this possibility is very real even though he lost the election for Chancellorship of Germany. Many other people still believe Edmund Stoiber may yet take control of Europe some how. Could it be because of what is going on in Iran and the Middle East ... and Russia as well as the economic downturn of America and Britain? Don't accept just these above links but do your own internet search as well as other research on these men and other world leaders. These are just examples why you should study human nature. Prove all things for yourself. Then use that knowledge to transform yourself, your life and your finances being on guard concerning others over you and around you at all levels. Hence, then watch and see what develops in the world. Your finances and your life will be greatly affected by the "movers and shakers" of the world and what you do. So, therefore, be prepared as the Boy Scout motto says "Always be prepared". You have been warned. Mankind really is un-teachable or un-changeable so the key is know that the bad is always there whether we want to think they are or not so study the good guys and how they think so you know how to be a good fighter and win putting the bad out. The deep seated motivated fruits speak louder than superficial nice sounding words. This is noticeable in the home, in business and management at all levels as well as nations. Be a hero. Not a wimp or a coward. Set the example that you won't compromise with your values. Be careful which peers you associate with as you are judged that way, whether you like it or not. Fact of life. Associate with those leaders that you respect. Or create the leadership for others to follow you. One of the best human relations courses that has existed is the Dale Carnegie Human Relations course. Or perhaps read the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. Another excellent self-help book is "The Incredible Human Potential" by Herbert W. Armstrong.
5.) STUDY WORLD NEWS AND FACE THE HARD FACTS. (It takes courage to face the facts. Especially with all that is happening in the world today. There ARE certain trends today that will affect every man, woman and child on the face of the earth. Are YOU ready?) As Churchill said, even a boa constrictor has a digestive period. He pointed to when Hitler would consume Austria and everything would simmer down for awhile before he would rouse up again for the next meal. Britain's Chamberlain by contrast, did not want to face the truth choosing instead the easy ways of appeasement and words, words, words. History repeats itself as Churchill knew. World news studying and other means shown to me is how I declared the stock market dot com declines several months before they tumbled. Forget the "insiders" who are paid to suck people into spending their money so they can get their commissions or fees.
Isn't the country divided just about 50 - 50? Some feel that it has gone off the cliff with "unrighteousness" - much more than the 50% barometer of Mr. Babson. History will tell us if this formula is still correct... In other words, watch the next year or two... Currently, there are four major trends in the world (paraphrasing as listed by one or more international news sources) to keep watch on. A.) The Anglo American nations downward spiral in almost every area of life just like every major society that became history after their height. B.) Europe powered by Imperial Germany is rising rapidly throwing their weight around as their muscles flex. This could be dangerous for Anglo America. Watch the treaties with Russia just before the pounce... C.) The Middle East with Iran as the king is a tinder box and will explode soon with major repercussions felt around the world. Especially due to German Europe that needs that oil and energy. D.) The kings of the East including China, Russia, Japan and a few others are joining forces slower than Iran and Europe but is a dramatic force and joining nevertheless. Again, these are already noticeable trends and worthy of watching in more detail for your individual life and your plans for your future. You won't see anything about these trends in most of the US media. You must look internationally. How well do you know your history and the rise and fall of nations as history and trends do repeat itself.
6.) FOCUS ON THE BIG ISSUES. (Time becomes urgent when we look at the big issues. "It is not the thing, but the kind of thing that you should not tolerate." French President Charles de Gaulle said that.) Look beyond the individual event itself, but how it fits with the trends and history. Individuals, home life, management, business, world governments... it doesn't matter. History repeats itself. Be aware and plan in advance what to do so when "it" happens you know what to do in your life - whether in your job or your business or your home or your nation.
It is not politically correct to ask where is God today, but who said I was politically correct? Look at reality. Every time our English speaking nations focused on God, there was peace and prosperity in the land. And likewise, every time our nations forgot who and what was God, it went downhill quickly. Again, how well do you know your history? The school systems don't teach history anymore or when they do, they have watered it down to be acceptable to the politically correct police. But reality begs to be asked where are the English speaking nations today and what is their direction? Why? History does repeat itself...
7.) PONDER THE FUTURE. (Begin your sentences with the word "IF" and tie it to the future. IF ... this ... happens then that will happen.) Use Historical Perspective - events have one part when they occur and another part when they become history - to your advantage. Churchill tried to put thoughts into an historical perspective. He pondered what Hitler would do and predicted when he would go into Austria and he did. When things are peaceful, think what can happen next to shift office politics, business trends, government policies, etc. knowing nothing stays the same for very long. Consider when the nation and the economy collapses as they will and the stock market crashes (soon - real real real soon), how will that affect you and/or how did you plan to protect yourself ahead of the events soon to occur?
BOTTOM LINE - how will this all affect your finances and your life? Can you be ready to address the issues in advance or be on the defensive after-the-fact? T - H - I - M - K as IBM used to promote to their managers back in the early days before they became the giants. Are you a thiNker or just a passive thiMker player looking for the smooth things? Unfortunately, today, think as if everyone is trying to get YOUR money for themselves whether it is for your good or not. Will you let them take it like Chamberlain almost did with western civilization? YOU are responsible for you and your household. Go on the offensive and go to Self-Help U. Consider this. You have now been warned!
